Collections & Research

The Holliston Historical Society has many useful resources to help you learn about the history of our town.

Browse the links in the menu to the left to learn about  the historic Asa Whiting House and Barn, our library and collections, and news and recollections of interest to our members and friends.

Thanks to the efforts of dedicated Society Members, volunteers, and interns, we also have created an electronic database to catalog our holdings.  Use the link on the left to view the catalog.

We have also added information about our historic town cemeteries.  The link on the left contains the names and relative location within the cemetery.  The Society gratefully thanks Mr. Paul LeBeau and Ms. Lena Bragg for providing this data and Ms. Carol Kosicki, Ms. Susan Heavner, and Ms. Mary Curran for adding headstone and vital records data.  Additionally, we would like to thank the Friends of the Holliston Historic Cemeteries for lending a hand in the verification of the data.

We are also pleased to present information from Mr. Jon Varrel's pamphlet "Holliston Remembers" regarding individual Holliston Veterans.

Lastly, Mr. Paul LeBeau has graciously allowed us to present his data on "Births, Marriages, and Deaths from 1729 to 1843", assembled from vital records at the Town Clerk's office.
