Friends of The Holliston Historical Society

The Society was presented with a grant award by the Newcomer’s for the purposes of upgrading our computer system and replacing the long defunct copier in our library.  We are grateful to the Newcomer’s for their extraordinary generosity in awarding this grant to our Society.  Please take a moment to see the other ways that the Newcomers invest in our community. http://www.hollistonnewcomers.org/comm_inv.html

The good people at Lanni Orchards donated all the apples for our Harvest Fair pies.
We'd like to thank them for their contribution, and generosity. They are indeed friends of the Society.

Coastal Mountain Railroad

The folks at Coastal Mountain Railroad built, maintain and operate a modular HO scale model railroad layout.
Their modeling skills are nothing short of extraordinary, and their displays are prototypically accurate.
For the Society's first annual train show, Coastal Mountain Railroad entertained kids of all ages with their displays of railroad operations.
We'd like to extend our appreciation for their time and efforts. Please take a moment to visit their website www.my-dads-trains.com/cmr.

The Waushakum Live Steamers club exists to promote interest in and knowledge of steam locomotion, especially on rails.
It is open to all who have a sincere interest in the subject.
The primary activity of the club is to maintain an outdoor track, where members can operate scale steam locomotives.
In support of our First Annual Train Show, Waushakum Live Steamers delighted us with their G-Scale steam locomotive, and entertained us with videos of their rail operations in Holliston, MA.
Live steam is the ultimate in model railroading, and The folks at Waushakum Live Steamers will simply astound you. We thank them for their support, and efforts for helping to make our event a success!  Please take a moment to visit their website www.steamingpriest.com/wls.
